Great news for UAD users today – Sonnox and Universal Audio have announced a partnership which means we will see Sonnox plugins for the UAD platform. Yep, soon you might be able to tax your UAD Quad instead of your CPU with the awesome Inflator plugin.

UAD Satellite FireWire card announced
Universal Audio has announced that a UAD FireWire card is going to be released. Duo and quad versions will be available and pricing will be similar to the PCIe versions. Check the video from Sonicstate above for more details.
Universal Audio joins Team RTAS
Universal Audio has announced that they’re now RTAS developers and that their UAD platform is compatible with Pro Tools. There’s of course already a lot of folks using UAD plugins in Pro Tools but this is clearly a step forward in terms of integration.
