Overloud Breverb 1.5 is here, with increased stability for RTAS

Overloud has released version 1.5 of Breverb, and I haven’t even tried the first version yet! Here’s the new features (according to their website).

  • New set of dynamic, level driven, parameters
  • Standalone version both for Mac OS X and PC

  • Improved automation on the 6 sliders
  • Improved stability of RTAS Mac

This new version fix the saving problem. Saving user presets didn’t save the channel levels.

REFLECT 1.4 now available

The new version 1.4 includes a new algorithm for position sensitive early reflection patterns which improves the localization of separately positioned sound sources. The new built in channel mixer improves REFLECT’s usability in the production workflow.

TC Electronic debuts new products in Frankfurt

TC Electronics debuts a number of new products at Musikmesse in Frankfurt. Among them is a new delay/reverb hybrid plug-in for Powercore called Tap Factory, a special release of Powercore called Powercore X8 Sonnox Edition (includes the Oxford EQ and Oxford Dynamics) as well as a free editor for G-System.

REFLECT - the algorithmic reverb goes surround

The new version 1.3 is a true surround reverb modelling multichannel early reflections and decorrelated reverb tails for a realistic spatial emulation.

With this update, BREVERB fixes some problems with the RTAS version, adds Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard compatiblity as well as new additional factory presets. The update is free for all registered users.

With POSEIDON, one of the most innovative synths out there, VirSyn got my attention. So when they claim that their latest plug-in, called REFLECT, combines the flexibility of vintage algorithmic reverbs with the the sonic quality of convolution based reverbs I sit down and listen.
