Waves at NAMM: new artist collaborations, new bundle and Vocal Rider released
Waves made some major announcements at NAMM, including three new artist collaborations resulting in new plug-ins, the new Horizon bundle, and on top of that the much discussed Vocal Rider is now shipping.

Spectrasonics has announced new v1.2 updates for Omnisphere and Trilian — bringing full 64-bit cross-platform support for all their virtual instruments. But there are other new features as well… And an iPhone app.
Avid introduces Pro Tools Instrument Expansion Pack
Avid’s only news at this years NAMM was updates, some were minor, some were bigger, all were welcome and all were AIR.
New Universal Audio partnerships: Harman Pro Group and Dunlop
Universal Audio has inked contracts with Harman and Dunlop, meaning we can expect to see a lot of new plug-ins for their UAD platform in the future, and possibly with a slightly different direction than in the past.

Softube to release Trident A-Range plug-in
Softube will release an emulation of the classic Trident A-Range EQ February 1st. The plug-in is approved by the creator Malcolm Toft and Trident Audio Developments.
