M-Audio has released some new drivers (anyone surprised?). This time it’s for KeyStudio 49i and MobilPre USB.
Driver version 1.7.2-4 for KeyStudio 49i offers several bug fixes and performance enhancements, as well as support for Mac OS X 10.5.4. The update is available immediately for PPC-based and Intel-based Mac computers running OS X 10.5.4 and 10.4.11.
The latest MobilePre USB Windows driver now officially supports Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista 32-bit SP1.

M-Audio has updated their DJ software Torq to version 1.0.7 for XP, Vista and OS X (including Leopard). This update supposedly fixes several bugs and improves overall stability.

M-Audio has released new drivers for both Windows and Mac for many of their interfaces. The drivers for Windows offer support for XP SP3 and Vista (32-bit), while the Mac drivers offer support for 10.5.3 and 10.4.11.

M-Audio has announced the availability of a new driver (1.7.2) for KeyStudio 49. This new driver supposedly enhances overall performance and offers several bug fixes. The update is available for Mac computers running OS X 10.5.3 and 10.4.11. The driver also automatically updates the KeyStudio 49i firmware to version 1.31.
With this latest driver release, KeyStudio 49i is also compatible with Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4.2 software on systems running Mac OS X 10.5.3.

So finally Digidesign and M-Audio (and Avid) have announced that all version of Pro Tools, including LE, HD and M-Powered are Leopard compatible with the release of 7.4.2. This is a free update for registered users of 7.4. But I think I’ll stick with Tiger just a little bit longer.
