iZotope announces Ozone 4

iZotope has announced version 4 of Ozone, their mastering suite. iZotope has updated and expanded Ozone’s processing algorithms and “optimized them for today’s low-latency DAW environments”.

New features includes a new Intelligent Loudness Maximizer, Perfect Reconstruction crossovers, mid/side processing for superior control over the sound stage, and a new True Envelope dynamics processing mode.

iZotope ANR-B noise reduction hardware now available

iZotopes first step into the hardware market is a noise reduction unit. The ANR-B as it’s called was actually announced months back but has just now been released. The market is obviously broadcast:

Updates for iZotope products

New updates are available for the iZotope products Ozone, Trash and Spectron. Among the changes are the removed support of 10.3.9, so make sure you’re running the right OS for the update. The other change is the added support for Unicode characters in the preset folders.

iZotope iDrum is PC ready

iDrum, the drum machine from iZotope is now Windows XP and Vista ready.

iDrum 1.6 included the following changes:

  • Support for Windows XP and Vista
  • Tested for Mac OS X Leopard
  • Multi-out support for Logic 8 now works correctly
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements for Mac version

Additional changes in 1.61 includes improved MAS automation and sync support, as well as removed DXi support.

iZotope announces plug-in versions of RX

iZotope announces iZotope RXâ„¢ audio restoration plug-ins, featuring the essential tools for cleaning and restoring audio. Soon to be available for VST, Audio Units, MAS, ProTools (RTAS, AudioSuite, HTDM), and DirectX, the plug-ins will be released in February 2008, and will be included with the award-winning standalone version for the same price of $349. Current RX customers will be able to download the plug-ins free of charge at www.izotope.com.

iZotope has updated Ozone to v3.14, Trash to v1.13 and Spectron to v1.13. They’re all intended for increased stability and performance. They now also support Leopard.
