Flux unveils Epure II

Flux have now updated their plug-in Epure (one of my favorite EQs might I add) to run on TDM systems, including Venue.

The acclaimed minimum phase equalizer algorithm is now available for the DSP based Digidesign hardware including Venue. This TDM version features all the capabilities of the native version, including independent settings for every channels - up to eight -, internal MS encoders / decoders - up to four -, inputs and outputs routing matrixes. Not to mention the A / B Morphing.

Stereo Tools - new freebie from Flux

flux_stereo_tool.jpg

Flux have released a new freebie plug-in called Stereo Tools for RTAS, AU and VST (Windows and OS X). Stereo Tool offers controls and visual feedback for the stereo stage.

From the Flux press release

Stereo Tool features ultra precise controls of input gain and individual pan for left and right channels. A phase inverter is available for each channel. A global stereo pan and a stereo width setting are also implemented to complete the management of the stereo signal.

Stereo Tool also offers an accurate visual feedback reflecting the signal content. A vector scope display, Peak meters for both inputs and outputs, and a phase correlation meter permanently monitor the signal.

As all Flux:: plug-ins it features 64 bit floating point processing, up to 8 FS (384 KHz).

Flux rumors…

I’ve picked up some news from Flux.

In the coming days they will release:

  • The follow-up to one of my favorite sounding EQs Epure II with TDM and Venue support (and also Digi Remote controls support). Excellent news!
  • A new Freeware: Stereo Tool with stereo controls and stereo oscilloscope and phase meter. Should be a useful addition to the freebies out there.
