Eventide announced today v3.5 software upgrade for its best-selling Eclipse digital multi-effects processor. The upgrade, free for registered users, via download is available from eventide.com. The new upgrade accelerates the operating system, dramatically decreases MIDI latency, improves system control responsiveness, doubles the number of parameters that can be controlled at one time, thus enabling more intuitive, expressive operation of the Eclipse for live and studio applications.

Available through May 31, 2007, the upgrade special affords Anthology owners the chance to upgrade to Anthology II for $249 (regularly $299). Clockworks Legacyâ„¢ owners may upgrade to Anthology II for $429 (regularly $499), and any MassivePack, Octavoxâ„¢, Eventide Reverb or H3000 Band Delaysâ„¢ owner may upgrade to Anthology II for $699 (regularly $799).
