Reason 4 release date set
Propellerheads has set a release date for Reason 4. There is a countdown at their website - currently at 27 days. In case your bad with math, that means they will start shipping it September 26th.

I’m no huge fan of Reason, I have used it some in the past and haven’t even bothered installing it on my newest computers. I understand it’s powers and all that, I have just never really felt like I needed it. However, even I have got to admit that this upcoming version of Reason 4 looks pretty cool. Seems like they have done a lot of work with this one.

Reaper OSX preview
I have yet to try this app myself but there are people out there who ditch the major DAWs and go running to the grim one. It’s so cheap you won’t believe your eyes. It’s been available to Windows users for quite some time and can be found here:
