
Antares has announced a new version of perhaps the most famous (and controversial) plug-ins of all time, Auto-Tune. The new version is called Auto-Tune Evo and according to Antares “represents the most substantial advancement in power and ease-of-use since Auto-Tune’s original introduction in 1997“. Along with Auto-Tune Evo, a new bundle has also been introduced consisting of Auto-Tune Evo and Avox 2.

Muse has announced that Antares Auto-tune is now available for the hardware plug-in player Receptor. You can run Auto-Tune 5 on any Receptor by simply downloading and installing the program from Muse Research’s Plugorama.com website.

Maintenance releases of Auto-Tune 5 AU and TDM (Mac) and VST PC are now available. The AU version provides improved compatibility with Apple Logic 8. In addition, all three releases squash a few minor bugs. These are free updates for current Auto-Tune 5 owners.

Boy, have I been waiting for this or what? While harmonizers have been available for Pro Tools for quite some time, there really haven’t been any in the RTAS format.
