If you tried to access ProToolerBlog earlier today and found yourself at a page that simply said “account suspended” you might have wondered if I fled the country (like that would help) with all the riches I’ve made (like they’re significant) and went on to live a life on the flipside of the law (like I haven’t always done so).
All kidding aside, it made me extremely frustrated because I didn’t know that I had done anything wrong. As it turns out, neither did anyone else so the account is now “unsuspended” again.
Apologies for the downtime, folks. Now back to business as usual.
While I have your attention: I have some new stuff that will be reviewed soon – hardware and software. A few of the reviews should actually have been dropped already if it wasn’t for the fact that I suffered a nasty middle ear infection two weeks ago. Let me tell you, it’s not easy to evaluate sound equipment when you a) hear nothing above 859Hz, b) hear everything like you’re underwater, and c) literally have blood running out your ear. It’s still bothering me a little bit but I think I’ll be fine getting back to music again this week.
And if you have emailed me and I haven’t gotten back to you yet I again use the above as an excuse. My inbox is refilled every day like you wouldn’t believe it and I decided to take an “easy” week due to the much needed rest so I haven’t been able to answer as many emails as I normally do… But I will get back to you!

Had that same thing last year. Very painful and no serious mixing work for 3 weeks.
As for as myself is concerned; I am very happy with recalltone which I bought a year ago and just started using now. VERY COOL. They should build stuff like this right into protools. It’s super awesome to get a text window upon opening a session with some info. Or to have pictures of your drum set up stored within the session. VERY COOL… Oh…already said that.
