Apogee goes iPad with their interfaces

It was about damn time – Apogee has made their One, Duet and Quartet fully iPad-compatible. Luckily, they will still function as Mac interfaces too.

The new Duet appears to be similar to Duet 2, except for the iPad-compatibility, which means we can assume that it sounds the same. Release is expected next month.

Quartet, too, appears to be the same as it has been, except for the iPad-functionality.

Apogee claims that the new One has improved sound quality. “We have completely redesigned ONE, incorporating highly anticipated features; iPad compatibility, simultaneous recording of guitar and a microphone, enhanced sound quality, and a much desired metal chassis,” says Apogee CEO and Co-Founder Betty Bennett. Awesome. It’s expected to be released in March.

How cool is it to record with Apogee quality into your iPad? I think it’s badass.
