I get that error way more than I’d like to. Usually after a crash. Best explanation I could think of was that after the crash, Pro Tools thinks my hardware is still being used by the ghost of Pro Tools past (or maybe another application? Not sure). After a couple years, I noticed that it could often be solved by quitting Safari, then relaunching PT, oddly enough.
I thought you announce the winners for PT10 today/tonight? I have been waiting patiently and very excited to find out who won!
