ValhallaFreqEcho – free frequency shifter and echo from ValhallaDSP

freqecho_sm

It’s not that often that I have the pleasure of announcing a new RTAS freebie here (although if you compare it to how rare they were five or more years ago it feels like christmas every day!) but today is one of those days. ValhallaFreqEcho from ValhallaDSP is described with the following words:

Bode-style frequency shifter + analog echo emulation = skull melting chaos. Perfect for dub, Dr. Who and all of your psychedelic needs. Sonic results range from subtle chorusing and double tracking to barberpole phasing and flanging to endless glissandos and runaway echos.

I don’t have time to try it today – almost bar time! – but I like the name and will be sure to raise my glass to Odin and all the warriors in Valhalla. If you give it a go (the delay, not the drinking) feel free to share your opinion.

Go grab it

Reminds me of something between Massey Tape Delay – the beautiful delay noise when you change the delay time – and Ohmforce Hematohm for the Feedback and Freq-shifting madness incl. a nice LFO (named Shift).

Valhalla also designed the algorithms for AudioDamage`s EOS. Such a drag AD hate Digidesign so much.

Anyway, so with the above references a really excellent piece of software. IMHO

    Good finding, Stiff.
I raise my bull´s horn full of Met to you and Valhalla!
