I'm excited to finally try this new version out as of its RTAS release. I was really impressed with the original, and Pro seems to have a few more important features that were missing/lacking from the former.

I downloaded their free british amp sim a while back - it's really pretty decent, and you can't beat the price. It's a fun one to fire up and crank your monitors - these guys do tubes pretty well I must say.

The most useful sim tone I keep coming back to is the "sweet" model in Waves GTR tool rack, which really works great with strat/tele type guitars, for that "distorted but clean" tone that seems to work best in a mix - you can try that one for a full year. Which is kind of like a crack dealer saying "smoke up for a few weeks and I'll get back to ya". (The spring reverb in that package is pretty realistic in a mix, too, and they did a good job on their cabinets). $149 when the year is up.
