Or so they say… 31/1-2010

If I have to flip flop more than three times in an A/B test to figure out what the difference is, I lose interest in that difference.

The feature I request today is… MIDI mapping!

Wouldn’t it be great if anything in Pro Tools could be mapped to MIDI with the click of a button or two? Ableton Live can do this (which by the way can also assign pretty much anything to keyboard keys as well) and it’s a feature I always end up using when I’m working in Live. Would be nice to see it in Pro Tools. Mixing and producing could be much more intuitive.

Driven Machine Drums for Structure

dmd

There’s not a lot of instruments available for Structure so any user of the sampler should be happy to know that ToneBuilder’s Driven Machine Drums now supports it. While samplers traditionally might have been about recording your own sounds, the world today is different, and people rely heavily on sound libraries. Therefore it’s rather sad that there are so few choices for Structure. At least Driven Machine Drums looks good if you’re into… Well, machine drums!

Driven Machine Drums is an electronic drums sample library created with drum machines and synthesizers, then processed with various expensive gear (see below for more details).

Oh, you mean you were looking to actually learn something of value from this website? How about learning about making funk. Below are two pdf’s that will get you at least half-way.
