URS announces the URS Strip Pro v2.0

URS has updated the URS Strip Pro to version 2.0, updating the input stages and the compressor section, as well as providing support for Windows 7 and Snow Leopard.
The 30 input stages has been upgraded to add “a more weighted effect with improved vintage odd and even harmonics”. Some have said that the input stages didn’t make much of a difference so perhaps this is a response to these complaints. The input stage now also feature a bypass function for easy A/B testing.
The compressor section now has a faster attack algorithm to simulate vintage FET and opto compressors. Another welcomed addition is the wet/dry mix control. Every compressor should have one if you ask me.
The upgrade is free for registered users.

I just LOVE IT even more, now! This is my Lonely Island Plug-In.

I must admit I find this funny: they updates the input stages. Yeah, it’s now a hand programmed (and yes I have have seen that term used in advertisement
) nickel wound transformer instead of the earlier chinese programming iron one…. LOL

yes,a jump from v.1.1 to 2.0 for what they actually deliver is perhaps a bit much. I´t rather like 1.4. But the new faster Compressor is the eye mark here. It opens up totally new possibilities.
