From the description of the Vitalizer it sounds like one of those magic boxes that are too good to be true (and those magic boxes always are) but I’ve actually been waiting for this one, even requesting the plug-in from SPL before I knew it would be released. So far I’ve liked the SPL plug-ins so I expect a lot from Vitalizer.

And what do you think? I have been waiting for sometime too, I have downloaded the trial version, I was very impressed so I have bought the full version, in some ways this reminds me a bit like BBE sonic maximiser, but 300000 times better, and the sound to the lows are very impressive, mids and highs sound good too.

    That’s a lot of times better ;)

I haven’t tried it yet but I’m looking forward to give it a go.

Couldn’t find pricing on the site, anyone know?

I’ve found twin tube to be pretty magical in its subtle way, makes almost everything better – became a real EQ replacement for me. Never owned a hardware vitalizer, but the common wisdom seemed to be “use it for the bass”. Which is kinda cool, as I use the twin tube often to bring out the high end (love how it articulates bass guitar even). Think I’ll try this one when it’s out of beta.

Give it a go stiff you won’t be disapointed mate, I bought it on your recommendation and also other people have said how good spl stuff is, I have their eq so I decided to go for it, and this does a really impressive job, looks like this is gonna be a real workhorse for me especially for those lovely deep basses :-)

It’s about €217 which I think is good considering how versatile it is, I think this is going to end up in a lot of studios!!!

It’s on sale until 12/30 for $264 which is pushing it. But after that, at $352, seems expensive…
