Blue Cat Audio is a company I’m not very familiar with to be honest, I happened to stumble upon them and their Freeware Plugins Pack today and noticed it was just released in RTAS format, though only in beta so far. I’ve downloaded it but haven’t tried any of it yet.
The bundle consists of modulation effects, EQ and analysis tools – not bad for a freebie bundle! I’m always interested in trying new modulation effects, and Blue Cat’s freebie bundle includes chorus, flanger and phaser.

You just cannot argue with the price
But really – these plugs can actually take you somewhere.
Used the MS plug in a project : handy!
Downloaded the FreqAnalyst RTAS plugin, and it does not work on PTLE 8.01cs1 running 10.5.8 — stops PT dead in its tracks when it’s the only plugin on with only 4 audio tracks running. Shame, as it looked to be very good.
That’s bad news
They updated the free pack… it works now !
