M-Powered protools, a macbook pro and a Mackie Onyx 1640i. Well, that will beat the crap out of my current 003 set up!
In what way? You mean the preamps and such?
For starters, but the flexibility of the 1640 is so much better than the 003. Plus the latency free recording is much easier. The preamps are really good, etc etc
I really hope more manufacturers will go this way. Must say that protools support surprised me….
Sure. Unfortunately you’re stuck with M-Powered, which could be a deal breaker for some.
I guess….. BTW: did anyone else notice that “my digi” is no “my avid”
Kind of strange as they took it through the facechange the website had about a year ago. A lot of work for nothing.
So what will be the next digi thing to go? Will the next release be the AVID Mbox3? (AVID004?) I’m happily using Logic 9 for 2 weeks now. I hated it at first but I just don’t trust digi anymore. I want to have more options when something bad happens to digi….
I’m pretty much impressed with the stability of Windows 7. It is better than windows Vista which hogs my memory and cpu.`;,
