Antares Mutator for a measly 10 bucks

Have ten bucks to spare? Until June 30 you can get Antares Mutator for that price. I haven’t tried it and don’t know if it’s worth it.

$10? Why not! I will let you know (I have it installed/authorized but won’t have a chance to run material through it till tomorrow ;-)

Should at least make a good companion to the SSL ‘X-ism’ plug from last year’s Halloween :)

I would think a chain of Mutator+X-ism+Cohmpost might just drive one insane. It could turn out to be the type of device that a villain from the old Batman series (you know, the one where he’s purple and has a nice little beer belly) could use to drive Gotham mad :D

I used Mutator on vocals for Halloween music last year and it turned out great! Well worth the $10

Excellent idea/visual/fx trio stiff! Consider it on my ‘todo’ tomorrow ;-) And the total cost is STILL $10 :)

Feel free to post a link when it’s done.

I bought it blind ’cause it was so cheap.

The pitch shifter is not particularly tweakable and not a good substitute for Digi’s offerings (Pitch or Time Shift) in my book. But the Alienize effect is interesting and I will likely use it at least once at some point which will justify the expense.
