Sound library news 8/3-09

Here are a bunch of sound libraries released this week.
Tonehammer Forgotten voices: Francesca is a new vocal sound library with samples from alto singer Francesca Genco. There are plenty of demoes on the Tonehammer website. It should be interesting to anyone looking for chants and such.
Kreativ Sounds KS Tape Drums is a collection of synthesized drums put through some tape. They cost as much or little as you want (yeah, seriously).

Puremagnetik Bender just sounds weird… Glitchy and circuit bent. 100 loops, five kits and two instruments. Keep in mind that to use it you’ll need Ableton Live, Native Instruments Kontakt or Apple Logic (for use as EXS).
Prime Loops House Guitar Loops Volume 1 is a guitar riff filled library promising “funky guitar riffs, latin jams, jazz progressions, nu-rave & indie loops, acoustic, mowtown, and electric guitar styles”.
Ueberschall Urbanic II is intended for the hip hoppers out there. This followup contains 30 new construction kits. As usual with Ueberschall, their Elastik player is included.
The latest Samplebase SoundBlock is 4th Floor – Tech | House | Electro – Side A. It’s for music that I don’t care the least for, but I guess if you like the four-on-the-floor-thing you should check it out.
