I’ll believe it when I see it

As the title says…

  • Novation to offer biggest music-making product. I already posted this, but I had to add it to the list. It would be so cool if it was just a huge synth, and not the biggest, as in greatest, product at all. I would worship their marketing section if this was the case.
  • Release of LinnDrum II. Just a random rumor… But it would kick ass if it was true.
  • Euphonix is rumored to show an addition to the Artist series. I’ve heard of a new controller, and/or a screen for what’s already out there. Just rumors so far, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
  • Digidesign? I heard indications for something new from a very reputable source some months ago, but I’m not entirely convinced. I think, however, we’ll be notified about changes in the company.
  • Prosoniq will show SonicWORX Pro. Does it work as well as they say? It’s a product I probably would never use, but it will be cool to see it in action.
  • New Melodyne to finally be released? I’ll believe it when I see it…

We’ll know more tomorrow.

Novation claims to have the biggest music-making product at Messe…

… Without knowing I call bullshit, but nice marketing!

My guess is it’s some kind of combined plastic controller, synth and audio interface. What’s your guess?

I know I sound like an ass, but I’ll be very happy and admit I’m wrong if they indeed prove me wrong.

New UAD plug-ins: SSL 4K and Cooper Time Cube

Universal Audio will show new plug-ins at Musikmesse for their DSP platform. And how about this, among them are the SSL 4K Channelstrip and Buss compressor. I imagine that will make a lot of people happy. Indeed, UAD is becoming a more and more complete deal. The other plug-in is Cooper Time Cube, a recreation of the Duane Cooper and Bill Putnam collaborate design.
