New McDSP bundles and pricings
McDSP is offering a new bundle for a limited time only (November and December) – the Winter Special bundle. The Winter Special HD bundle is sold for $1695 and the native bundle for $895. It includes Analog Channel, Chrome Tone, CompressorBank, DE555, FilterBank, ML4000 and Revolver. They’ve also extended their Classic Pack special as well as decided to lower the price on the Project Studio bundle.
I’m a fan of Analog Channel and ML4000 in particular. The DE555 has become my most used de-esser, more because of ease of use and it’s resource-friendly nature than sound qualities perhaps, but I think it sounds good as well. I’ve never really used Chrome Tone as a guitar amp modeler, but it’s actually my current chorus and flanger unit. It’s possible I could do better in that field, haven’t really looked around. FilterBank and CompressorBank are classics, and I think they’re still capable of good stuff. Technology has of course improved and neither of them are go-to plug-ins for me, but I could definitely live with them as only EQ and compressor.
McDSP has also extended their Classic special (previous post) in case you’re looking to score Analog Channel, FilterBank, CompressorBank and MC2000 a little cheaper. Offer now ends November 30.
Last but not least, McDSP has decided to permanently lower the price of the Project Studio LE bundle to $295. Project Studio includes LE versions (note “lightweight” versions, not the regular native versions for LE) of Analog Channel, Chrome Tone, CompressorBank, FilterBank, ML4000, Synthesizer One and Revolver.
