Audio Ease has announced Speakerphone 1.1, a free update for registered users that adds automatable IR switching, Pro Tools Leopard support, and sped up preset switching.

Arjen of Audio Ease had this to say:

Speakerphone has been very successful so far. Really a lot more people have been waiting for it than we expected. We thought the percentage of usage in post production would have been larger than it turns out to be. Post Production editors use it to quickly whip up a complete scene of crowd, helicopters, sirens and crackling walkie talkies for instance. But surprisingly our on-line polls show that a substantial part of the Speakerphone customers is mainly doing music: re-amping done with Speakerphone’s collection of guitar cabinets, but also the occasional nu-metal vocalist tired of his own megaphone.
