Bob Nagy Skootch version 2 is ready
Bob Nagy have updated Skootch, his window management tool for Windows.
New features in version 2
1) Plug-in windows support. Management of the position of opened plug-in windows.
2) Edit and mix windows may now optionally be fully maximized to the entire size of the Pro Tools main window.
3) The number of video monitors to be used for Pro Tools may now be selected. This allows the user to “reserve” monitor(s) for other apps.
4) Skootch embeds its control buttons in the Pro Tools menu bar, so they’re always easily accessible.
5) Skootch maintains three “window areas” (mix, edit, plug-ins), which can even be displayed on two-monitor systems via “shifting” of the view.
6) Skootch supports up to four video monitors.
There’s no website where you can download it but you can email Bob at

if you want it. He has informed me that he will have a website to host it sometime in the near future. Skootch is a sort of donationware meaning that Bob will give it to you, but that you perhaps should consider a donation if you find it useful.

Very cool idea.
I have no use for it (personally) having only the single screen, but pretty cool app none-the-less.

Yeah, I’m on Mac so I haven’t used it, but it seems like a handy tool for Windows users.
