New Black Lion mod for 002R/003R
There’s a new mod available by Black Lion Audio for 002R/003R (note not for fader users) called ‘220 / 270SP Signature Series’.

It features our proprietary A/D and D/A circuit configurations and high speed, low noise analog stages. Low impedance, low ripple Sanyo OS-Con capacitors are used throughout the signal path and converter stages. Analog stage headroom is increased by 20dB over the stock 002.
Worth to note here is that the headroom for 003R is increased by 15dB over the 002R according to Black Lion themselves. This makes me question how much improvement that’s actually been made on the 003R.

Price is $1250.
Looks pretty interesting in my opinion but as I live in Sweden I guess this will be a pretty expensive mod and who knows how long the 002r will be supported by Digidesign.
might be cheaper to get one on ebay and have it delivered to Black Lion then shipped to Sweden after the mod.
Anyone else interested?
