Hey Steven,

It's easy if you know how to ;)

Here's the steps:

1. Right-click (ctrl-click works as well on Mac) any knob or fader you want to control.
2. Choose learn CC from the pop-up menu.
3. Turn the knob on your Oxygen 8.

The control is now assigned.

For further Transfuser control you might want to play around with the smart knobs (the knobs above the piano). You can make any of these smart knobs control any other knob so that you don't have to dig around in menus to find it. To assign a control to any of the smart knobs follow these steps:

1. Right-click any control other than a smart knob.
2. Choose assign to smart knob in the drop-down menu. It has a sub menu where you can choose which smart knob you want to assign it to.

That's it!

If you need to remove any assignment, just right-click and choose unlearn CC, or unassign smart knob, depending on if it's routed to your Oxygen 8 or the smart knobs.

Good luck!

I wish somebody would talk about using T. with a very very simple controller like the Oxygen 8. When I hook that little thing up with Reason ZAP I could use it instantaneously but in PT--the Transfuser manual makes it sound as easy as 1-2-3 but it's really not--at all...trying to find information to help me use a Controller with the program is very much like finding a needle in a hay stack! If anyone can offer bulletin boards or video tutorials (not the WOW this is incredible one by the Bald Brit) PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Thanks...

I liked what I heard when testing Transfuser, but I also got the stability issues. Complete PT shutdown twice within 5 minutes. Let's hope for the full version. And let's hope for a consumer friendly price point.

Had no problems with stability as far as Transfuser is concerned. This is one of the nicest, COOLEST, (if not THE best), plug ins that Digidesign has to offer.

This is definitely designed with Hip Hop and Electronic producers in mind but it has so many cool things about it I fear producers of other genres will miss out on this plugs potential.

Well, there's a lot of things that can be different. From the functions used in Transfuser to platform to Pro Tools version.

Hmmm. That's odd. I played around with Transfuser with Pro Tools LE 7.3, and Pro Tools never crashed once. Somehow the reliability of this plugin differs from user to user.

What I did miss here was the ability to apply M.A.R.I.O. on the only selected notes in the pattern. It seemed like a logical function and I was disappointed to see that it didn’t work (or am I missing something here?

In the Drum seq edit window hilight individual track and then apply MARIO. I only sussed this out when I watched Phils video at Digidesign
