Here’s a video of the new Euphonix controllers that I found. It’s from SOS.
Does it look good? Yeah, it does. Will it be a Mackie-killer? Most likely. Is it optimal for Pro Tools? I bet not. Actually, from the looks of this video it doesn’t do much more than a 003 control-wise. There seems to be a couple of additional features (“layouts” seems like a very good idea) but there could also be a lot missing that isn’t on the LE surfaces. Also remember that this is showing it running with EuCon, for Pro Tools it would have to be as emulating HUI.
I think we at least can conclude that the parallels some have drawn to ICON is way off. You’ll still have to go into a way more expensive Euphonix territory for that. I still think Euphonix is sitting on a potential gold mine here, and I can’t wait to try it, both with Pro Tools and EuCon hosts.

Video quality is very poor. I am a heavy Protools Users and would have liked to see more screen shots for Protools.
I really cant wait to use this. Next time you guys record audio… turn your cell phones off and you wont get that interference noise. caused by cell phone initiation.
