It’s bogus. They used a Behringer console and the test results are mixed up, it’s not really what they say.
A reliable source at Digidesign was quoted at the Gearslutz forum.
“A reliable source quoted”? I saw some guy hating Digidesign claiming some reliable source said it was Behringer. I’d call that BS until he can give a name, a proper quote or anything other significant. Or perhaps you’ve seen something else?

i must admit, i’m suspicious of nay test like this dome by a company who has vested interest in a particular outcome. in this instance, digidesign WANTS there to be little to no difference between OTB vs. console mixing. so, why should we trust the results, ya know?
