Hi guys and gals. I see some disappointed faces who looked for their news fix yesterday and didn’t get any. Sorry about that, I’ve been totally knocked out, haven’t been able to even get out of bed… In fact, I didn’t even have the power to turn on the computer and check my email and that, my friends, means I’ve been pretty damn ill.

Now we’re back on track though! We have good reviews coming up, the second Spotlight on EQs that I’ll post sometime this week, and I’m not even sure I dare checking out all the news. Time to put on a pot of coffee and get to work!

Something hit me the other day when I was trying out all these EQs for the previous Spotlight and the upcoming part 2: most of them are pretty good. Oh, I know, I know… You only use this and that on this and that, and hey, I’m glad it works for you mr So-and-so, but think about it, when was the last time you tried an EQ that really SUCKED? Not just an EQ that you thought was worse sounding than your favorite, or an EQ that made you go “I can’t use this on that because this one sounds better on that”, but an EQ that truly SUCKED, was CRAP, UNUSABLE.
